After a bit of climbing and driving around downed trees your will arrive at Dubbo Flat after 3.6km. It will pay to walk this section of the track as it becomes obvious that this ground swallows 4WD pretty easy and there is nothing to winch off in the middle of the flat.

Having a good recovery plan is essential for this section of the track.
