This 5.5 km section of the track is characterised by its endless series of ominous looking puddles that need careful consideration.

One or two creek crossings may need a quick look at find a suitable exit route. The end of this section meets Boundary Road, and for those who respect the paint on there cars this is where you should re-join the journey into the Northern Snowy Mountain Park on the Southern Section of Broken Cart Track.

This is also where you can give your low range a rest and clean the mud out of your tyres as the track transitions from an unsealed tertiary to a well maintained secondary track. This section of the track also provides access to the National Park.
