Day 2 Chronicles of Neil and Dave

Sydney to Coffs Harbour – 533 km

On the second day of their "Lap for Legacy" journey, Neil and Dave departed from The Rocks in Sydney, where they were embraced by the warm support of thousands gathered for a fun run. The weather was warmer, but strong winds posed a challenge. Their first stop was the Wyong M1 service centre for a quick break. Continuing to Coolongalook, they refuelled and met a fellow rider.

In Cybucca, Neil and Dave were deeply moved when they encountered a couple who were delivering a commemorative fishing rod to the family of a young man who tragically passed away recently. Their day's ride ended in Coffs Harbour, where they enjoyed a relaxing evening with a lamb roast dinner at The Coffs Hotel.
