Squamish is the outdoor recreation capital of Canada! The Squamish region is world-famous for mountain biking and hiking, as well as for snowshoeing, snowmobiling and back-country skiing in winter. The town is also well-known in the summer for wind and kite surfing around Squamish Spit. Aside from the adventures of the outdoors, Squamish has a long history in the Craft beer scene with hop farming being the first major industry in our town over 100 years ago.
